Eczema and Sensitive Skin Standards
People with eczema, sensitive skin, allergies, and dermatographia often have a compromised skin barrier. Certain ingredients are known to increase irritation, dryness, and inflammation. At LOUMI Skincare, we intentionally formulate without these common triggers.
Synthetic Fragrance (Perfume)
Why it is avoided
Synthetic fragrance is one of the most common causes of contact dermatitis and eczema flare ups. It can trigger redness, itching, and allergic reactions even at low concentrations.
LOUMI standard
No synthetic fragrance. Any scent comes from carefully selected plant derived ingredients used at skin mindful levels.
Sulfates
(SLS, SLES)
Why it is avoided
Sulfates strip the skin of its natural oils, weakening the skin barrier and increasing dryness and irritation. This can worsen eczema symptoms and sensitivity.

Why it is avoided
